    Tuesday 11/9/21
Fetched missing material today and started manufacturing the individual parts.
Unfortunately, a couple of issues have surfaced that I will be revising tomorrow. .
With this thing I will be able to water various sailing ships.
Please be patient, it will be fine!
greetings until tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. . . Michel-Claude
PS:at the moment you can't really understand my idea ..😊😊😊

    Hi Michel-Claude
This is looking good and I think we can now understand you are making a boat transporter to take your models to the sailing site.πŸ‘
You are fortunate to have such good help with the fabrication from your former company. It's making into a very professional looking bit of equipment.😊
I have a similar item made from a golf trolley with home fabricated mounts.
    Cheers
    Dave

    Hello you hobbyists,
Now I've come a step further, here are a few photos.
Found some hard nuts, but I'll solve this too. I have to find an idea for the different widths of the sailing ships. For the widths, the "scissors" (the aluminum profiles) must be further apart than for the narrow ones. Then there is the keel. Well, first I have to organize a meter of pipe insulation for the plumbing. So that the hulls are not damaged, I put them over the double cord and over the profiles.
The second last photo is the transport aid and watering aid folded up. Easy to take with you and doesn't take up much space.
So and now a few days off! Grandchildren come first and a great weekend ahead is waiting for me and my wife!
    Ciao tutti your Michel-Claude

    Bonsoir JB!
Oh, You are right, the optimist is always opti in the beginning. . . "mist" (Germanword, in English :dung)
But if you take your time, something like yours will come out! Excellent!
    Get tips from you, ok?
But the first question: How did you solve that with the sailing servo? May I ask for a few pictures?
    Thanks in advance Michel-Claude

Hi Michel, my Optimist was the same,- a lot of things broken after long storage,- rebuilt a lot of the cabin woodwork, replaced frayed stays etc, but a nice boat in the end, and getting quite rare now.

    Hi JB,
Yes ! I restore my ship's tailcoats one after the other, as you say so beautifully: step by step
Then the hull is completely covered with special polyester. I let these cure for a week and work on the others.
    Greets Michel-Cl.
PS: The optimist was in bad shape because his hull was made of ABS.
After almost 33 years of slumbering beauty, I had to remove the whole structure called compulsory !!

    Hello everyone!
    A few lines in between . . .
Now finally, here's the rest of the transport helper.
In order to protect the ship's hulls, I obtained and adapted insulation for heating pipes. In the last 2 pictures you can see the respective settings for large keels to smaller ones.
Frame tested, but wait for spring.
The workshop is now waiting for me to optimize it even better. A mess at the moment. .
    until then
    Greats Michel-Cl.

Hi Michel, looks good, - I hope you have tied the insulation tube on, as it tends to float. Good idea with the multi purpose use.πŸ‘
