I built an Italeri PT 109 several years ago and like the Vosper the quality of the parts are excellent.
I managed to squeeze in the 480 brushed motor with esc plus enough room for a 2S 2400 mh Li Po. It looks so real at scale speed but can go a bit faster but I have to be careful I dont burn out the motor. Are Italeri still making boat kits as I havent seen them in the shops of late . Dave Keech😊 ▲

I did not do the under deck modeling on mine, only the detail work in the wheelhouse where the receiver sits. The aerial wire is elastic thread found at a fabric store and then painted. I did replace the bow and stern posts with brass tubing, the plastic parts were to likely to snap off.
A brass tube holds the mast allowing it to be removed during transportation and when placing the battery below deck. The mast and elastic cords are the last element to be put on prior to launch. I used beading wire to create various parts on the model, such as the radio loop on roof of wheelhouse; the grab line on the bow and other areas if you look closely in the photos. I created a coaming and raised the mid deck gun . The yellow velcro, aft of center gun station, holds the battery keeping it centered above the stuffing box and assists with stabilizing it in the water ▲

Ron, your Vosper is very, very nice..much nicer than mine I think. I’m intentionally leaving off some details and simplifying my paint scheme so its less likely that I’ll break something during launch and recovery. To me, the under deck work is easy, the scale details are another matter. Nice work sir, very nice!!
