I am 80 year's of age and a retired cabinet maker and design engineer.
Covid got me started on modelling plane's and recently boat's.
Have built Spitfire's and Phantom F4's which I have sold to give myself a bit of room, (hanger come harbour is a bit crowded)
The PTB is my first scratch build of a boat, drawings took forever and still need a bit of tweeking.
Here's the build do far, got to make working roll off torpedo's, they'll take a while. I have installed motors and ESC's with water cooling and props, don't think the props are big enough. will have to see. photos will follow soon, got to concentrate on torpedo's.
Have got a second hull with Chines and
keel runner which I may triy to make a fibreglass mold.🀞🀞

    Excellent job Clive πŸ‘β˜€οΈβ˜€οΈβ˜€οΈ
Well pleased to see you fitting all three shaftsπŸ‘πŸ˜€
    I have a 1/34 (2'4" / 70.7cm) scratch built ELCO 80 in for a refit.
Can't wait to see how your working torpedoes actually do!
And if the woiks can be scaled down by nearly half to fit mine.
Awaiting developments with well bated breath.
    Cheers, Doug😎

Nice work. Your ambition puts me to shame. I have a 1/24 scale scratch built Elco PT boat that I started 30 years ago and have yet to finish.

After all this time I am afraid to paint it for fear that I will screw up my work. Time to overcome this stigma and get it done
