Hi All
As the owner of two Hellen fishing boats, I was looking for something with better access, but, about the same size.
I found the French version of the Hellen.
Larger hatch and a raised section forward of the wheelhouse.
Also this is my first strip planked boat, I picked up an IKEA wooden blind for $5au with a 100 strips of 3mm by 25mm and 1100mm long.

Impressive work Canabus👍

Hi All
Finished the dingy, hatch, skylights and companion way.
Added some paint, matt 131 green for the hull, under water the hull is matt37.
Yellow for the trim bits with matt vanish for the wood work.

Hi All
Installed the rudder with oiler, also installed the 60 turn motor with metal joint from banggood.
Installed the 4.5KG servo with linkage to the rudder.
First coat of Matt 37 which showed up a few spots that require a bit of filling.

The boat had it's first ballast test today.
Started with 14 and1/2 pounds and had to add another pound and 1/2.
No leaks!!!

Hi All
Installed the deck and filled around the edges.
Gave the hull a quick run and it handle very well.
Good turning circle and at 50% throttle still over scale speed.
3/4 throttle looks about right.
About to start planking.
