I recently bought a couple of cheap jet drive units, about £15 each and was wondering what to do with them. A friend suggested i put one in my ski boat, so i shoe horned both of them in.

Be careful not to knock the nozzle off the back as you will lose steering and it's a xxxx to replace it as it is bound to full off in the water. I lost mine several months ago when I tried to go round a floating fountain at the other end of the lake but went over it instead. Quite a spectacular flight but no more steering. Trouble is, the time and effort trying to replace the nozzle is probably not worth it and replacing the whole jet unit is the way to go, unless you have a 3D printer.
But they do whizz about and are good fun. Chris ▲
