The vessel was a floating Police detachment on the R.C.M.P. enforcing the laws of Canada. Transporting people and goods from one detachment to another among other chores.

RCMPV St. Roch is a Royal Canadian Mounted Police schooner, the first ship to completely circumnavigate North America, and the second vessel to transit the Northwest Passage. She was the first ship to complete the Northwest Passage in the direction west to east (Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean), going the same route that Amundsen on the sailing vessel Gjøa went east to west, 38 years earlier.

Sixteen years after being launched, St. Roch was refitted at Dartmouth, N.S. in preparation for her 1944 voyage. A much larger deckhouse was constructed with individual cabins for the crew, the 150 hp diesel engine was replaced with a 300 hp. diesel, and there were other, lesser, upgrades.
The ship was most often captained by Henry Larsen.

The ship is located at the Vancouver Maritime Museum in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and is open to the public for scheduled visits.

The vessel was built in 1928 as a schooner, there was a restoration in 1930 and it was painted white and grey and a major restoration in 1944 as a ketch to the original color. When I looked at many pictures, I had a hard time to have the right color scheme. The references are from a book "Arctic workhorse The RCMP Schooner St-Roch" written by James P. DELGADO.

So this mean that each pictures has to be uploaded one by one

You are right, this is a bow thruster. A bow thruster is not of that era. It was supposed to go onto another boat.
The pond where I go has a huge fountain in the middle. My skill to navigate with sail are poor. It will be used in special moments such as to avoid collision or near sinking.

I usually manage to upload in the order I want my pictures.
I've found that I have to drag them them into the upload box one at a time in the order that I want them, I wait until it's thumbnail appears before doing the next one.
I have asked Stephen (Fireboat) our benevolent host if he can make it possible to re-arrange the order of the pictures after uploading them but I never had a satisfactory response to that request ☹️.

Try as I might, I’ve never got pictures uploaded in the correct order!

Nice work Ygagnon, I envy your brother's ability to machine all those metal parts for you. What sort of boat is she? an auxiliary schooner of some sort, but is she some specific type of vessel?

I think To get the photos how you want them you will have to work out how you want them to show on the finished post.

So the picture you want to see first in the final post you put on first.
The picture you want to see second in the final post you put on second.
And so on.
