Since my wife has retired from work, a few weeks ago, I haven’t touched my Veronica barge, only a touch here and a little bit there, I feel a bit guilty going into the garage to work on her, ( the barge Veronica) hehe. She has told me to get on with it, so , you may see some more progress from now on.
Hope to get cracking on the sails.

    Ken.

    Hi Colin,
Now that your wife has retired she probably don't want you under her feet all day that is why she has told you to get on with it LOL!!

I hope your wife enjoys her retirement.

I always know when I am in the deepest depth of the soup(or other such liquid)when her indoors invites me to go down to the boat shed and have a play.In other words go away πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.
What all of us chaps need to remember is....
β€œWe are all married to the same woman in effect.....they just have different names”
    Take care all.
    Bill.

We are so lucky if our wives do let us build our boats and are happy to let you do so.
I for one would not change a thing I don't hide what I build or buy for my hobbies.
We work together for matters of the house and leisure but let each other do our thing when it comes to interests or hobbies .

Trying to build enough boats to fill it !!!!!
She's still learning to weld, but the manual labour side she's worth her weight in gold plated nuts and bolts.
    Cheers Colin.

Mine loves the practical things, not much good with technology, but will strip and rebuild an engine or gearbox at the drop of a hat. I'm not allowed to use her tools as she says I leave them oily.
We both enjoy our hobbies and will help each other, we have managed to live this way together since 1972, we even got married in 1978 and still can't do without each other.
    Cheers Colin.
