Thank you! Thought it was time to model something different and a new side to model. its took 2 years to complete but well worth it. I hope me nwxt German model turns out as good.

27.1.2014 just a few more thing crossed of the list

Here's a small update, not a lot done apart from a few crew members added and the diesel oil drums! Still waiting for a good Sunday to have a sail up Bournville Pool again!

1/24 scale items are available from most good doll's house model suppliers, including dogs and cats. Hope that this was a helpful hint. Colin.

New Year update !

Well Ive been very busy with the KFK over the holidays so here are some new and latest work done!

Does anyone know how to waterproof a paper print from a PC! I want to use a print for the Swastika on the wheelhouse roof in place of painting it on!

Hope you all had a good Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!

    Thanks!
    I've heard about this before!

This is how I have done it, sprayed both side with clear varnish then undercoated with white spray and finally painted the wheelhouse roof with matt vanrish and used that as the glue! Top coat of matt varnish to seat the edges!

    So far so good!

Update for September 2013

Still a long way off from finishing this model! But so far all is going well, some ballast was removed from the stern after a sail round Bournville pool a few weeks past! I would like it finished by spring of next year!

Oh yes aerial trouble has been sorted! LOL thanks to some fish tank air pipe
