    CNC boat kits...?
Incidentally, I wouldn't worry about formaldehyde assuming you are using UK MDF. Levels are insignificant - but I don't suppose that will stop the scaremongers... Lots of dust makes a mess everywhere, though, and it can irritate your throat...

The fin does submerge due to the fact that it's hollow and there is a square cut out near the top that is camouflaged with screen painted at the same time as the fin.

Look for a simple balsa build
"..... EezEbilts are all relatively easy to make even if there are a few minor errors which are so easily correctable......." Since they are intended for beginners, ANY problem needs to be looked at. If it's a problem with the plan then I need to correct it - if it's a problem with the user not understanding something or getting it wrong, then I need to change the instructions or some other aspect of the plan to avoid the problem in the future. The boats are intended to encourage modellers by helping them get a boat right first time. It says a lot for GMan's perseverance that he is still looking for a model to build after some initial frustration, no matter how it was caused...

DF's maiden voyage went well yesterday, despite hardly any breeze at all. Myself and fellow club member Colin who was re-tuning his Graupner RG-65 had a lovely time cruising around our club water, trying to find the best of the rare breaths of wind. Mine is the white boat with clear white sails

    HMS Cottesmore
I just thought I would post some photos of my HMS Cottesmore. She is still a work in progress. I have been working on her for about three years now.(in between other projects) I purchased the hull And running gear from Fleetscale. Everything else has been made by myself using odds and ends, bits and pieces including yogurt pots and a lot of LED's I have a few more years work to do before she is completed, lots more bits to make.
