I have basically completed Normandie - Posted: 26th Dec 2017
Normandie is basically completed , I will have to add the electric drive and ballast before floating her and I have her set up for full lighting but I have not yet purchased the led strings to install.

Good steady progress. Like the real ships progress can take time but the results speak for themselves and your model will look spectacular when completed.

Passenger Liner Normandie - Posted: 29th Nov 2017
I am presently scratch building a 1 1:44th. scale model of Normandie 7 feet long as built June 1935. She will be radio controlled and fully lit. I started her in August and I have another month or two of work to complete.

Thank You for the kind responses. I am retired so I can spend more time than I used to. The lusitania is to the same scale and is 5 foot long and I built the table out of Oak.

BRAVO ZULU1 Nice detail, sir. I wish I'd had this model when I wrote my 12th
