Cabin structure - Posted: 20th Jan 2019
A bit of progress, it's a bit of a challenge to assemble the structure as there are only a general over view on the drawing.
But the cabin is coming together.

It's coming along nicely!

I remember when.
I put together the Robbe Neptun.

The instruction where in German!

I just went by the pictures which were few!
Take your time!

Started on an easy build. A White Start from Billing Boats.
As usually the build instruction is very basic, all is more ore less shown on the main drawing.

I have skipped the original 3mm shaft and added a 4mm from Robbe incl. a 3 blade Graupner racing prop as used in my Classic.

I'll be using a 1100KV Brushless motor with a 2S LiPo.

The basic of the hull is now done.

I use 10mm magnets in a double setup, one mounted on the hull and one on the cabin on each corner of the cabin.
On my last Perkasa I used the double setup forward and a single double setup on the stern.
The total weight of the boat is six pounds and I can lift the boat by the cabin!!!

Good use of the magnets. The neodyne magnets are amazingly strong, I used two back to back to hold something, it was so strong I could hardly get the thing apart! Nice work on the boat! Joe
