Maybe this has been mentioned before but there is a product called "Canopy Glue" by ZAP. It says it is fast drying, if you call 3 hours fast. It cleans up with water and dries clear. I have never used it and have a bottle to try out. The airplane guys really seem to like it. LEN

I have used contact cement (contact glue) on certain applications such as melamine trim on counter top edges.

You put the glue on both surfaces let it dry, then place the parts together. The draw back is, there is no moving the parts to get a good alignment. The bond is instant!

I looked at the instructions. Being this is a contact adhesive, it says to brush on both surfaces. Has anyone tried putting the parts together and letting the adhesive seep in?
