I have been looking online for a small old style wood finished (1960s) yacht kit but with not much success. I say small because I think it will be easier to build with the limited use I have of my right hand at the moment. I do have Aeronaut's Bella sitting on the shelf crying out to be built but at the size of the model I don't think I could mange handling the size just yet.

I have seen plenty of RTR yachts for sale but they are not what I want. I want to build a fully RC wooden kit, as I said above, in the style of the 1960's that is in of the region of 18 inches long.

Has anyone ever built a similar yacht like the boat described above of know of a suitable kit available for sale?

Concerning small sailboats, I already have the Bob-A-Bout and the Wee Nip so they are not what I am looking for.
