    Big fan of the Danforth and with a ramp doesn't hurt either. Nice and neat. I think Artesania Latina sells some white metal Danforths in various scales. 😉

    So many thanks for all your advice and tips guys will post pics later manged to sand the rubbing edge strip all back to level and after a few bad choice words and a few mistakes and trials at bending wood manged to get it as new as I could in the end boiled kettle and stuck the wood in my large flask and it did the job and manged to get the fitting kit off SLEC and with the help of my trusty dremmel came up like a shiney penny so my question what anchor to get and where from I do like the danforth anchor but trying to find the right one and to use chain or rope what’s everyone’s thoughts
