The centre hatch is were the nitro or Diesel engine was fitted at one time, Exhaust still remains.

The boat is not a Sea Hornet which is 642 mm long and the stern is totally different, also, the rear cockpit is to far forward.
It is still a nice boat and would look well restored.
I have the original plan and boat.

Looks like an early Aerokits Sea Hornet.

The construction suggests a model from the 1960/70s, are you sure it's fibreglass, the hull shows wood?
Would look stunning when restored with say a 35xx or 42xx brushless coupled with a 35/40mm prop 100amp ESC and 11.1/14.8 LiPo. Make sure you find a few model figures to add realism.

It looks very much like a Riva Aquarama. There are several of these that have been imported from the far east. They are nearly all rigged for electric power. This could be an early one as it is much bigger than the two that I have.
The Riva s are high end sports boats made in italy for people with 800,000 quid to spare (and more) and go really well. Another clue is if the hull is fitted with a chine rail, Rivas did not have one!
