    Hi Rossiter,
    Go for it πŸ‘
Since the lights could be raised and lowered I strongly suspect that they were a 'movable feast'πŸ˜‰ I.e. they were changed according to circumstances, to what rules I don't know I'm afraid.
But whatever colours you set will likely be correct for some applicationπŸ˜‰
So if someone challenges this arrangement I'd very much like to know on what basis!πŸ™„
    Cheers, Doug

Thanks for that Doug, you may well be right, I'll do the top lamp red and the bottom one white and wait for someone to tell me I'm wrongπŸ˜€

    Hi Rossiter,
I think you may find that they were not 'sliding on the port side' but hoisted on the forward side of the mast.
Top light appears to have been red, the lower one white.
Quite what the significance of that was I don't know.
Maybe to signify the cargo on board, e.g. ammunition!?
    Cheers, Doug 😎

I now know that other than the navigation lights, that stern and mast lights would be white, however, this particular model has 2 vertical sliding mast lights on the port side, can I assume that these are white also? I can find no reference to these on the internet, and why were they sliding? I look forward to replies, thanks, Ross
