I've not died.

Welcome back to the site Colin, not a pleasant thing problems with the eyes, I had Iritis some years ago,
sounds similar to what you have just experienced,
now having problems with glaucoma, and hoping I won't be losing my driving license.☹️

Cheers, Peter

I've not died.

Thanks JB.
I am glad to be back, its been horrible not being able to read, write and enjoy the site.
And relying on others to take me anywhere I needed to go was awful.
So I'm trying to catch up with all the news.
Cheers Colin.

I've not died.

Cheers Doug, mum's shed is still waiting for me to deliver it.
Wasn't able to drive with the visual problems.
Tried a short trip today to the shop 3mls and back and seems okay.
Workshop is the next thing, BTW, I have given up on my old Futaba 35mhz transmitters with the 2.4ghz modules.
And I have bought 2 cheap flysky 2.4ghz sets, one 6 channel to try and get my Westerriff up and running.
And a 4 channel for my dad's old Sea Commander. Both units cost me £38.00 including delivery.
I will let you know how I get on.
Bye for now, must read more of what's happening.
Cheers Colin

I've not died.

Hi all, sorry I have not been able to communicate with you recently, I have had something wrong with my eyes, after I had a fall and banged my head, it caused something called uveitis? Doctors said it is something to do with pressure in my eyes, everything is fine now, I can now see without the fog.
So hopefully I'll be able to catch up on what's been happening in the wonderful world of boats.
Congratulations to Nerys on your meteoric rise in the ranks.
Hopefully going to boat show next Saturday at Warwick. Might even have my grandson along as he's getting really interested in the hobby.
Well I think I will start catching up on missed posts.
Cheers Colin.
