I have occasionally ordered things, particularly books, from the US of A and have found that delivery is usually worse than from China. Parcels to America are often bad as well, apart from Customs sitting on stuff for weeks, Mr T has virtually closed down the US Postal Service as he said it led to corruption in postal voting for the election.

Cheers, Nerys

Also pay by Paypal as you can lodge a complaint ie Late Delivery, Order not matching description.
Only old in years not mind or soul.

When ordering anything from eBay I always check where the seller is actually located.
The seller will often say that they are UK based in London or Manchester etc but in reality they are in the far east 😠

You can check their real location by scrolling to the bottom of the eBay page and looking at the sellers details.

Bad feedback often confirms this.
Here's a random sample in the pictures.....

Hi Nerys,
I have found the same.
That say U.K. supplier but you discover some time later when it gets delivered it is from China.

Most annoying.

If it looks right it probably is.

This business of deliveries from China seem to be quite controversial. I try not to order anything if it is specified 'from China', but when I get so called UK suppliers specifying delivery dates a month or so away, I begin to wonder. I'm in that situation at the moment, ordered some LEDs for our minibus, London supplier, ordered two weeks ago, delivery now quoted for end of October.

Hi Doc.
The issue might be the postal service from his location, my orders from MBB usually arrive within a couple of days if they are stock items and a extra day of so if I've ordered a 'special' prop-shaft or coupling that needs to be machined.
Conversely a 'ten day' shipping from China has taken nearly a month in my previous experience.
Remember that these are exceptional times !

Hi Rob,
I.m afraid I got the idea from you.I have one in my crash tender already. I paid much less the first time.
I was seduced by the quality of the motor mount, and after six days, my order from modelboatbits is still not here.Approx ten days from China!

Hi drspock.
I have used a servo mount from the same supplier in my Crash Tender and I can vouch for the quality, I'm not sure I paid as much as almost £13 though !

The motor mounts look pretty good too.

Have found a Chinese supplier of CNC aluminium motor and servo mounts.
Fantastic quality, but dearer than less sophisticated products from UK.
They are on ebay as eternallovesue3 ( I know,cringe),but they have 100% feedback,and that means a lot.
The servo mount especially offers a whole range of possibilities for mounting in awkward places!
