Success found a printer close by and they printed off an enlarged draft of the plan. Had them do enough 8 1/2 x 11 sheets to be able to cut out the frames.
Shocked me in a good way as the cost was under 10$.
Need now to source wood to build.

    Thanks Doug,
The problem I have, is that I need a copy of a plan that was lent to me before the lockdown, my usual
printers are closed, the plan is A1+ I think! a deans plan of cossack, I will have to see if any large printers are still open, otherwise its gonna have to be an A3 scan, and join together, thanks for the info.

    Cheers, Pete😊

Worth mentioning that European standard paper sizes are all multiples of each other in terms of linear dimensions.
ie - A3 is twice the size of A4, A5 is half the size of A4, A2 is twice the A3 and so on. In this system, scaling can be very straightforward.

    Rick,

I go to Staples to plot (print) my drawings on their large machines. Doug is right about the sizes, 24x30 or larger.

    Hi Pete,
You find an Online printer service, send 'em your drawing as pdf, jpeg or whatever they specify, and tell 'em what size you want the final print, and they'll post it to you.
If you're lucky rolled up in a toob!
Personally I've never needed to bother.
I scale plans with a 2D drawing app and printout on an A3 printer/scanner.
Two A3 sheets gives a max length of 33", three sheets 49.5". With 'borderless' printing.
One A3 sheet is generally enough for the frames.
A3 scanner / printers are pretty cheap these days.
Cost a small fortune not so long ago, then I fiddled about joining up loads of A4 sheets πŸ€”
    Cheers, Doug 😎
