This boat is 16" it would mean a pretty small motor, speed control, which is a bit much for a small hull. I have no problem bringing my other sailboat in to my feet. It could be modelled as a sloop moving about with sails furled.
There are many mini, micro or pico motors and ECSs, also receivers on the market these days. I've recently got into 'Plastic Magic' and am fitting out the Revell Harbour Tug kit, hull length 23cm (9 inches !!) with RC. And I'm not the first to do that with this kit. For instance look at http://www.micronradiocontrol.co.uk/ Nothing is Impossible! (I drive a Toyota!!!!!!!!!!!) PS I didn't mean you weren't skilled enough! That was based on my own experience with a yacht hired for the day on Elba many years ago - No Wind - No Move🤔 And then an aux. motor with a leaky cooling water hose 😲
