How can I expand the photos.
Although the app is running very well on my android phone, I am unable to expand any of the photos. I used to be able to get full screen zoom on the old app, but it doesn't work on the new one. Am I doing it wrong. Cheers Colin.

    Turnigy Standard 9x transmitter
Thanks. I will give it a try. If possible, could you tell me how your 4 channel switcher works. My next project has multiple additional features to deal with. Which one is compatible with the 9x. Thanks again.

    New Website Has Finally Arrived!
Private messages bug should be fixed now Colin. Also... some faulty hyperlinks and pages redirecting to the wrong place. Think I've got to the bottom of that too. @John, are you trying to post in the media section or the forum? Stephen

    Editing Models in Harbour
Thanks for the 'fix' StephenπŸ‘ Basically I like the new site presentation. Well done, helluva lotta work has gone into itπŸ‘πŸ‘ Now time to celebrate with a nice single malt instead of the coffee? Can recommend a Lagavulin or a Jura 😜 I've been wandering about the new site for several hours and have noted a few points that may need some attention - Some nice features which seem to have disappeared ☹️ Some new/old ones which don't quite seem to give the expected result. Will send you a report (with +'s as well as -'s πŸ˜‰) when I've finished stooging about. Would be nice to have the 'Site Related' forum topic back to do that! More soon, cheers, Doug 😎

    Planking
To make the hull water tight I use a product called z-poxy it's a 2 part product mixed in hardener and resin of the same amounts and I use a layer of fibber cloth and them the z-poxy smooth as best you can about 30 min. time to use and then let harden over night at least 24 hours and them you can sand and finish with filler if needed or some more coats of z-poxy sanding after each coat. Painting over epoxy
On fibreglass you could use an etching primer which is a modified alkyd primer that produces a sound base coat on wood, steel, fiberglass, aluminum surfaces. but you should use an ordinary primer before the top coat. Halfords do a spray etch primer.

    CNC boat kits...?
Continuing the saga - assembling the mechanics is one thing - getting it to be accurate requires a lot of set-up work! Here is the machine bolted to a thick chunk of ply, having all the axes checked out for runout. They are all adjustable, so occasionally some shimming needs to be done. Note that though a start has been made on some of the wiring, this is just the mechanics. No motors or control systems have been added yet...

I didn't give it much thought when I said tap off 2x6volt in parallel. I will probably use small 4s lipo to power lights etc. Thanks fo pointing this out. Still a long way from installing ancillaries.

I agree. Vaguely based on that prototype, judging by the foredeck, but with a lot of poetic license / simplification. Curious though that the builder chose a 'one off' for the basis but gave it a pinnace pennant number. Maybe he served on the pinnace!? Whatever, carry on boating folks, Doug😎

    Mclaren Clockwork Submarines U50
"... I dare say that with the necessary computer skills it probably would be easier, however it would be quite difficult for me to hold cardboard templates against a monitor screen. The whole ethos of what I do is somewhat Luddite in nature,to use basic tools, free materials and as little technology as possible...." I'm not sure where the cardboard template comes in? if you want to put it into a computer you use a scanner - if you want to take it out you use a printer. They are usually the same machine... I'm not dissimilar to a Luddite - the KK EeZeBilt sites are all about making things from raw materials and using household detritus to create fittings. But computers are just another tool - and can be as basic as you like. I still lament the passing of DOS, because I felt that you should understand how tools work before you use them, and Windows made it impossible to know where all the bits were going... One advantage of computing technology is communication. You are illustrating this at the moment. All I was thinking was that your skills, experience and work could reach a much wider group of people. There are, for instance, kids in Australia building EeZeBilts because the data to do so is on the web: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAHJbJieV0o
