I have acquired an old 50cm wooden model boat which requires a vintage style electric outboard motor. I am finding sourcing a motor very difficult. I would welcome advice. I am willing to take a second hand motor if anyone has one.

Probably means 500mm, I hope so! Otherwise it is going to need one hell of a motor!

Unfortunately they have become collector's items.

You may get lucky on ebay. Note that these motors will rarely provide much power.

Sorry about the typographical error, guys. The model is indeed 50cm long. Does anyone have experience of the Graupner outboards? Some seem to have brushless motors so should have some oomph.
