Hi. I've been into radio controlled warships for a number of years and would now like to own a decent lifeboat, preferably 1/12 but would consider a smaller scale.

What about building one from a kit or plans ?

Building one from scratch must be the preferred method of a modeller. Having said that, kits are available, as are fibreglass hulls. If you are totally set against doing any construction, try on-line auction houses (like eBay) or small ads.

Hi Glen,

Have a look on the sales section on Model Boat Mayhem. There is a 1/12 scale Arun Class Lifeboat "Queen Mother" for sale. I have been and had a look at it and it is a nice tidy boat.

Hi Glenn,
I have a model slipway Trent (1:16th scale I believe) purchased in 1999 which I never got round to starting.
Complete in box with gearboxes, motors and a couple of electronise esc's.

I have a hull that would serve your purpose.
It previously housed a petrol engine but would easily take an electric one.

Prop and rudder all intact, its only missing the engine and electronics.

text, phone or email if you are interested
