Hi smear
Welcome to the site. You can find models on e-bay from time to time and there are also copies of the original plans plus templates for the formers to enable you to make from scratch.

There was a recent article in one of the mags describing a restoration and I suspect it will have resulted in a high demand for the models so they may not be that easy to find.

Hopefully you will find one soon.

good hunting

A part built Solent just sold on eBay for £100 buyer to collect. I’m building one at the moment from plans bought on eBay (I’ve a build thread going as we speak). If you have reasonable building skills that could be an option?

I have an Aerokits Solent Class lifeboat kit. It belonged to a relative and I have been charged with the sale.

I believe it to be complete. There are also some patterns of various pieces and the plans plus the metal fitments that came as an extra.

As I say above, I believe it to be complete however, there may be one or two pieces missing as I have not checked anything.

Still in the original box (very tatty) which is just around 49" long x 13" wide x 3" high.

Valuation/offers appreciated.

Built ones are going for about £100 as in the post above, an unbuilt kit about the same price but yours may have some bits missing so, say about £75.
As Dave M said the resto in Model Boats mag will drive up the price as people see how to do it.
Hope this helps
