Hi everybody I have just joined this wonderful forum.

I have not been modeling for very long and the first model attempt was a springer tug then another and now both binned and started again.

Never had the time to do anything like modeling before and now retired well retired for a while decided to take up the hobby.

Still just a quick introduction and great to be here.

Hi Sonar
Welcome to the site. I suspect many have started models that never quite got finished so you are not alone in that respect.
There is a wealth of knowledge and advice on the site so if you do get stuck help is freely available.
Are you still interested in tugs or have you another model in mind? If you are still considering it may be helpful to say what model and see if others have already built a similar vessel and how they found the build.

HI Sonar, further to what Dave M said, dont worry about asking a question, might be a bit silly but if you dont know the boat ends up in the bin!!! the only silly question is the one you didnt ask!!!!

Hi Sonar,

Good to have you aboard, looking forward to seeing your build post...
Oh, I have a small collection of Tugboats myself! I'm interested in seeing what boat you pick to build.

Many thanks for the warm welcome and advice.

I will sort out some images of the model boat attempts so far.
