Had a great day yesterday, found a nice boating club and finally picked up my first boat that I won on eBay.....42" fishing boat, full electrics, works perfectly.....can't wait for Saturday, hope it's nice weather.....been waiting years for this moment :-)

I popped into Huddersfield Society of Model Engineers, they have an outdoor swimming pool for the boats, cater for rc trucks etc and have a working train for visitors to ride on bu it's the boat part that i'll be getting involved with. There is one closer to me but it's a lake and quite choppy...my first sail will be Saturday when i'll join the club :-)
