Just a thought but have any of the N Wales lads /lasses tried using the Marine Lake in Rhyl?👍👍. I don't know about the legality etc but it could be useful

It is not used for model boats, not even when our club does static displays at events there.

It is filled with sea water and the salts cause a few problems. It is also used by jetskis, powerboats towing skiers, canoes and windsurfers. None of whom are noted for their slow careful navigation.

There are plenty of other far better places to sail models in north Wales.
