Couldn't believe how big it is(ooh Mrs ) she is magnificent looked good from the bridge when she was being built far more impressive floating didn't appear to miss the bridge by much
I'm right jealous 😆 But I have to admit I did have the pleasure of visiting the BAE Govan yard (formerly Yarrow Shipbuilding!) a few times while HMS Daring - T45 #1 was under construction 👍😊 Mighty impressive was the module construction hall with a module being fitted out - it was 'massive' and weird to see all the insides outside so to speak! 😲 Even more impressive was the next visit when she had been launched and moved across the river to the final fitting out dock. Just round the corner from her were 3 FACs for which our company had supplied the Comms systems. Visits like that are what I miss most since I retired 🤔 Doug 😎
