Sorry I’ve not been on for a while, I’ve been busy learning how to 3D print things properly & playing with RC tanks & trucks.
Anyway, I’ve been into Bluebird K7 since I was a kid, the Bluebird Project who have been rebuilding her have been running her up & down Loch Fad on the Isle of Bute for a couple of weeks, it would have been rude of me not to take the 4 hour drive!
Here’s a video of her in action (not mine) on her 157mph run, the Loch is only just over a mile long so the ending is quite dramatic, I had a 5p 50p moment anyway.
welcome back Wayne ,my brother was camping in that neck of thee woods and managed to see her up close next time i see him will ask him if he got any pictures that i can post ,cheers Marky .btw did you ever get the rocket finished? mentioned this to Doug not long ago we assumed youd printed yourself into a corner or the good lady had found the electricity bill.
Hehe, how do!
I saw a guy who spent a week in the back of his 4x4, I’m too old for that sort of thing..
I think this is my favourite picture..
The rocket sits in the corner awaiting a trailer & something to pull it with. I’m well on with a Hannomag SS100, just waiting some axles to arrive from China.
