Hi Chaps,
Sorry I’ve not been on for a while, I’ve been busy learning how to 3D print things properly & playing with RC tanks & trucks.
Anyway, I’ve been into Bluebird K7 since I was a kid, the Bluebird Project who have been rebuilding her have been running her up & down Loch Fad on the Isle of Bute for a couple of weeks, it would have been rude of me not to take the 4 hour drive!
Here’s a video of her in action (not mine) on her 157mph run, the Loch is only just over a mile long so the ending is quite dramatic, I had a 5p 50p moment anyway.
Enjoy👍

Who said she had poor steering lol

Pity that doesn't really show the run , just the foreshortened front view of it, but good to know they turned the wick up a bit. It even slid a bit at the end.

Cheers,
Martin

Hehe, how do!
I saw a guy who spent a week in the back of his 4x4, I’m too old for that sort of thing..
I think this is my favourite picture..
The rocket sits in the corner awaiting a trailer & something to pull it with. I’m well on with a Hannomag SS100, just waiting some axles to arrive from China.
Cheers
Wayne
