Kit but a lot of work.
Twin speed controllers to facilitate steering through the tank steering system.

Second lifeboat built by a fellow CreweMBC member. I have made the Name decals for Ian and will give to him when I next see him at the lake. Tank steering is second nature to me as an ex flyer and I suspect many others. My Tx usually has one stick that is non self centering so I can set the speed for one prop and use the other stick for the rudder and other prop. Mixers are available if you want everything on one stick but separate control is, in my opinion, far better. Great looking model with lots of detail. dave976

    Light screens Rod.
As the name implies they screen the light so that they are only visible over the correct arc.
I.e. ~Ahead to abeam. See pic.

Hi I would not go there with the tank steering system. You will never manage a straight line and you will always have 2 hands occupied, which is not so easy.

I have tried running 2 boats from one Tx. The right hand is fine when the boat is coming towards you for rudder control. The left hand does not know how to do this yet!!

If you wanr to check try using your left hand for rudder when boat is travelling towards you.

There is another way, you can find a mixer that is driven by a single tx channel (for speed control) with a single pin o/p to run in parallel with the signal from the rudder control to the rx.
There is an o/p for each motor's esc so each motor has its own esc.

This means you can slow the drive to the inside of a turn and when stationary you can spin round.

Just a suggestion you might like to think about.

    regards
    Roy
