    Evening Pete,
    Sorry don't know.
Strangely I can't find any record of their decommissioning either.
All I do know (cos I was involved in the early stages of the project in the nineties) is that they were ultimately replaced by the six corvettes of the Kedah class between 2006 and 2009. The NGPV project; New Generation Patrol Vessel.
These were MEKO 100 corvettes designed by Blohm+Voss in Hamburg and built by the German Naval Group (various shipyards) and a Malaysian yard.
When B+V first introduced the MEKO100 design I was given the job of designing the COMMS system for it. The beginning of a 30 year association with B+V.
Was a bit of a quantum leap from a 31m 96ton missile boat to a 91m 1850ton full load corvette! In Malaysia they were reclassified as OPVs.
    Cheers, Doug๐Ÿ˜Ž

    Yes Pete,
You are correct, that was the ensign at the time of the Perkasa's commissioning, 1967, but I believe it was changed in 1968 to the current one I posted.
With an enlarged Malaysian flag in the canton.
The one you show was flown from 1963 to 1968.
So each builder can 'pay his dosh an' take his choice'๐Ÿ˜‰
BTW: In 1971 all four were rearmed with 8 x SS12 missiles.
Not sure what was landed to make space/capacity for them but I presume the twin 20mm aft and the torpedo toobs.
    Cheers, Doug๐Ÿ˜Ž

The flags as listed by Dog are correct, but if you are building the Perkasa MTB 150, the flag you should be flying is the White Ensign with the Malaysian flag in the top quarter as shown.

    Hi Stephen,
    Attached are-
The badge of the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN),
    Commissioning pennant,
    Naval Ensign.
    Perkasa's hull number was P150.
    Cheers, Doug ๐Ÿ˜Ž
By the by; RMN ships are referred to as 'KD' = Kapal Di-Raja, "His Majesty's Ship".
RMN in Malay = Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia; TLDM.
Motto 'Sedia berkorban' - Ready to sacrifice.

    You're right Pete๐Ÿ˜Œ I sit corrected.
Sorry, got me KDs and TNI-ALs mixed up.
Worked on a similar project for the Indonesian navy in the 90s, long time ago now.

The Malaysian boats were built by Vosper as you say; P150 to P153.
They were based on the modified Vosper Ferocity private venture design (ca 3m shorter and 2 engines instead of 3) used for Denmark's Sรธlรธven class. Wooden hull with ally S/S but the same dimensions and 3 engines as the Braves.
Perkasa still means strong or mighty though๐Ÿ˜‰
    Cheers and G'night, Doug๐Ÿ˜Ž

I may be incorrect, but I believe the 4 Brave class MTB boats, number 150 was Perkasa were built by vosper in 1967 for the Malaysian navy Doug.

    Not surprising jumpugly.
The Perkasas were built for the Indonesian Navy, Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Laut, TNI-AL, =โ€‰'Indonesian National Military-Naval Force', .
In their language Perkasa means strong or mighty.
