Mk2 RTTL 2771 - Posted: 1 month ago by colindavies
Upgraded to Brushless 2x1100kva Turnigy motors, Scratch built 1/24 scale. I've included a photo of a real one, just in case somebody else tells me the colour scheme is wrong, East of Gibralta they where white. I'm sitting on the engine hatch nearest the camera, that was 1969

Lucky bu**er, nearest I got was catching the wash from the bow wave while fishing, Easter 1969. Great model in correct colour scheme. I've gone green with envy. Keep on sailing, cheers Colin.

The Dumas kit (Carol Moran) mine is named Michael after my grandson. It sailed at a scale speed today.

The Bunker and Ellis "Lobster Yacht" a Midwest kit, seen here towing a harbour tender.

Harbour tender and Tugboat built by me. Dannieboy built the Lobster Yacht with added touches by Ron.

Hi Braulio,
Some masterful stuff there👍 and good clear photography 👍👍
Good to see the Atlantic Challenger. Many years ago a colleague and I did the COMMS system design for the original😊
Love the Minions and floating 'crapper', some imaginative folks about 😁
Cheers, Doug 😎

Very high standard of models, I have looked on the their face book page and there is another event at the location next year on 30th May 2019. I may just get there, as I often go to Austria normally around St Wolfgang see.

Sea Queen - Posted: 2 months ago by sidley70
Hi Model boat enthusiasts,
This is a photo of almost completed 2 model boats I have almost completed. The Sea Queen 50 years old find. It was found in an attic in a kit. The kit was in a very poor state and most of the timberwork had to be glued back together or remade. I had no plans for it and had to source a copy from the Model Boat website. It is a very nice model. The pilot boat was scratch built and sails very nicely. I have been building boats for about 30years and have built over 25 boats, scratch built all of them. I have included photos of some of my boats.

Fun Run - Posted: 3 months ago by Donnieboy
Our club had our Fun Run today. We operate out of Humber Bay in Toronto whilr the weeds are down. The sun is finally cooperating.
We have two ponds to run our boats in.The Sailors run in the big pond and the scale members run in the smaller pond.Attached are a few photos of the day.I must mention that the first picture is a new construction of a Marblehead out for a test run.The Canadian Coast Guard Ice breaker is totally scratch built with working radar and lights. This member works on his kitchen table. We found out later that he was born on a kitchen table.

Shots from the Chichester Canal RC Boat Run 2018. A bit of an endurance run and all except my galleon made it. Mine decided to not be attached to the prop shaft after a bit. Several children took part and several of the local clubs were there to enjoy the sunshine and company
