These are under repair. They were built a couple of years ago, but didnt survive some moves. Combination of hull repairs, rebuilding of shrouds, etc. Ongoing projects.

Scratch building a barge for my tugboat Miss Doris to push. May deck it over to become a tank barge I used to push on the Delaware River. If
i do deck it over, I'll hinge the deck to make use of the space for my RC gear.

Thanks for posting the photo of the barge build, gives me some ideas.... I have some tugs in progress, but no barges. I like the way you framed the hull. Joe

airboat - Posted: 6 months ago by Northumbrian
I thought as the lake is still full of weed this would keep me sailing built from light ply fibre glassed inside & out then painted length 33" width 12"height 16" to top of the prop
70 amp esc aircraft brushless motor 11" prop

I am busy with a landing craft i thought this would be another one to beat the dreaded weed 😱

Mk2 RTTL 2771 - Posted: 7 months ago by colindavies
Upgraded to Brushless 2x1100kva Turnigy motors, Scratch built 1/24 scale. I've included a photo of a real one, just in case somebody else tells me the colour scheme is wrong, East of Gibralta they where white. I'm sitting on the engine hatch nearest the camera, that was 1969

Lucky bu**er, nearest I got was catching the wash from the bow wave while fishing, Easter 1969. Great model in correct colour scheme. I've gone green with envy. Keep on sailing, cheers Colin.

The Dumas kit (Carol Moran) mine is named Michael after my grandson. It sailed at a scale speed today.

The Bunker and Ellis "Lobster Yacht" a Midwest kit, seen here towing a harbour tender.

Harbour tender and Tugboat built by me. Dannieboy built the Lobster Yacht with added touches by Ron.
