These are under repair. They were built a couple of years ago, but didnt survive some moves. Combination of hull repairs, rebuilding of shrouds, etc. Ongoing projects.

Scratch building a barge for my tugboat Miss Doris to push. May deck it over to become a tank barge I used to push on the Delaware River. If i do deck it over, I'll hinge the deck to make use of the space for my RC gear. Attached Photos - Click To View Large |

I thought as the lake is still full of weed this would keep me sailing built from light ply fibre glassed inside & out then painted length 33" width 12"height 16" to top of the prop 70 amp esc aircraft brushless motor 11" prop I am busy with a landing craft i thought this would be another one to beat the dreaded weed 😱 Attached Photos - Click To View Large |

Dunmas kit MACk 5045 motors and hardware. Two layers of 2 oz. Fiberglass cloth on hull 3/4 oz cloth on deck Klass Coat epoxy paint . Model has cabin lights and running lights. Power 2 x 7.2 packs.

Upgraded to Brushless 2x1100kva Turnigy motors, Scratch built 1/24 scale. I've included a photo of a real one, just in case somebody else tells me the colour scheme is wrong, East of Gibralta they where white. I'm sitting on the engine hatch nearest the camera, that was 1969

Enjoyable day.Light rain but lovely weather.Members from Kawartha Marine Modellers,Confederation Marine Modellers and Metro Marine Modellers attended.Wide variety of boats.Had BBQ afterwards.There is a couple of pictures of Springer tugs for people to have an idea what to do to theirs.
