Wooden structure model fishing boats. Was done on his knee at home in the kitchen from the remnants of plywood, balsa etc. Motor 1 pc 600 with water cooling, 1pc battery NiCd 3000 mA. Excellent handling characteristics. Even though it was not good at handling the water looks great.

BRAVO ZULU! I APPRECIATE THAT DESIGN AS WELL. THE USCG BUILT THE 40 FOOT UTILITY BOAT IN THAT DESIGN, AND IT HAS STOOD THE TEST OF TIME, EVEN WELL AFTER THEIR DECOMMISIONING AND BEING SUPERCEDED BY THE STEEL 41'ER.

Very nice WPB! I am a USCG Vet & have built or am building a few Coast Guard craft. I served in the early '80s, so these boats were after my time. The USCGC BLACKFIN (WPB-87317) was stationed @ Santa Barbara, CA
when I worked for the SB Harbor Patrol.
