    Tug towing
So we have no precise way to measure increased power... It might be an idea to do a bollard pull with a spring balance before you start doing any alterations to obtain a base figure. I don't suppose what you were noticing was just battery run-down, was it? A spring balance and a watt-meter should give you many happy hours of making slight adjustments and measuring them...

    CNC boat kits...?
Sounds like you might not have been waiting long enough for the Arduino to boot and load GRBL, so the port refused to connect, and then just stayed 'busy'.... If it happens again, try opening and closing another port, and then going back to 8. That seems to reset the flag...

Hi Nerys, Wish Alice had been here some years ago. I had to swim out in me knickers ๐Ÿ˜ฎ to rescue my HMS Hotspur destroyer from being launched into orbit by one of the lake fountains when the RX supply connection failed๐Ÿค” Got a round of applause and some interesting suggestions form some of the -er- 'ladies' present! Alice might have needed a snorkel as well though. I was quickly out of my depth and I'm 6'2". Cheers All, Doug ๐Ÿ˜Ž

    Pilot Boat.
I have really enjoyed building this little boat. The painting, as always, I found a challenge. I am really pleased with the performance and the finished result. It has taken me around six months to build only being able to fit time in around a busy work schedule. Looking forward to the next one now.
    C01
This is a coastal patrol ship that practically designed its self. I had some plastic card and I just wanted to make something, I hade no plans or drawings and this was the end result. This was made using my baking paper tip. I never got around to installing rc equipment in it as a friend decided that he wanted it as it was. And I never got took any photos of the making of it.
    DragoForce RG-65
DF's maiden voyage went well yesterday, despite hardly any breeze at all. Myself and fellow club member Colin who was re-tuning his Graupner RG-65 had a lovely time cruising around our club water, trying to find the best of the rare breaths of wind. Mine is the white boat with clear white sails

    HMS Cottesmore
I just thought I would post some photos of my HMS Cottesmore. She is still a work in progress. I have been working on her for about three years now.(in between other projects) I purchased the hull And running gear from Fleetscale. Everything else has been made by myself using odds and ends, bits and pieces including yogurt pots and a lot of LED's I have a few more years work to do before she is completed, lots more bits to make.
