I see that you have modified her to her later state, no lifeboats and the large towing winch on the rear deck. What motor does yours have? Mine is running a 24v motor with a 90mm brass prop.

Hi Colin, looks like Humbrol / Revell Deck Green to me. As used e.g. on RN WW2 ships in the North Atlantic. Did my HMS Hotspur with this.
Cheers Doug 😎
Hi Jugge: congratulations your Amsterdam is a super job 👍👍👍
Do not apologise for your English - you do not want to hear my attempts at Swedish! 😲😡

Really well built model of the Slipway kit. The detail is really good and some excellent pics. I see you put a raised coaming round the rear deck opening, should keep the water out. Congratulations on finishing.
Have you another project in mind?
Response by dragon on the 22nd Feb 2018
yes Dave i raised the deck you were right about the water getting in. New project is the last Wye Forces Hull from slipway as the mold has been broken up. Should be fun.
Response by dragon on the 26th Feb 2018
Hi Dave the new project I found out is not a wyeforce its a little longer and the cowling curves in more so I think ill call it wyeforce 2.

Michael - Posted: 9 months ago by Ron
Dumas kit Carol Moran, renamed Michael for my first grandson. My first build, learning how to make those brass railings each post being soldered following a paper pattern. Some customizing at the request of my grandson with added port holes, and deck features. He helped to paint it.

Looks great.... a ‘team’ effort. Well done. I’m just beginning my first build having just finished a workstation to house tools etc. All very satisfying.
Response by Dave M on the 22nd Feb 2018
Lots of nostalgia and really looks like a working tug.
Be good to see some on water pics. Your grandson must be very proud and is to be congratulated on the painting.
