" didnโ€™t think it would take as long to get the answer though, hehe" Hi Ken, What threw me off is that I don't think I've ever seen mast rings made of laminated wood before! Only brass or alu tube or strip. So I was looking for some kind of deck fitting! Nice one๐Ÿ‘ Can't wait to see the finished article! Had also much admired and envied your woodwork on the

There's quite a lot around about Jolie Brise, she was a Le Havre
    Pilot Cutter
but I believe is now owned by a school in the UK and is seen at many events. As far as Bristol
    Pilot Cutter
s are concerned, there are moulded hulls available for several well known ones, Cariad is probably the most popular, so, I'm sure you'd get a sail plan for her quite easily. Nerys

    Re: Pilot Boat.
Hi GD, There are at least two guys on here who have built and tackled Bristol
    Pilot Cutter
    s. MTurpin for one I believe. Maybe also Jarvo and/or Graham? Just search for 'Bristol
    Pilot Cutter
' on the site using the Search button on the left of the site pages. Under 'This Website'. Happy hunting. Post some pics of her and let us know how you get on ๐Ÿ‘ Cheers, Doug ๐Ÿ˜Ž (AKA 'Stuffy old Brasshat' ๐Ÿ˜)
