    Another thought Eric, It could be that your mini servos are more susceptible to interference - especially as you are operating the TX very close to the RX! First move the TX away at least 10 feet or more and try again. If it still jitters try fitting a ferrite ring to the servo lead, wrap the lead at least 3 times through the ring.
