    LATEST SMOKER, E-CIG ELEMENT
Re - I gave up smoking about two or three years ago now Yes you should give it up Martin, there's research I just read the other day (some US university) that reckons there's harmful stuff in it which is as bad as cigs (not to mention the Nicotine they add!)?? Turn your tank into a boat smoker not a smoked boat maker๐Ÿ˜‚ Burning Ethylene Glycol, Glycerine Nicotine and 'flavours' can't be good for you, (unless of course your flavours are a liquid form of a certain natural product (referred to sometimes in hippie days as 'old bed
    socks
' ) or you're nipping over the fence to the paddock and collecting the glow in the moonlight 'mushies', nudge nudge wink wink say no more say no more know what I mean๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ JB

Thanks Cash, PO 2nd Class Errol duly noted on the roster. Reminds me of my cat Merlin, pitch black with white

on his front paws. When I first got him he could curl up in the palm of my hand!๐Ÿ˜Š Cheers an' G'night, Doug ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Welcome back Chief๐Ÿ˜Š You and Lt. Marky have the watch then. Try and keep the Lt. out of the Wardroom bar! Advise the Wardroom Steward please. No pink gin, no Water of Life - Surgeon Commander's orders I'm afraid๐Ÿค” Wish you a quiet night. Sig: CIC DoPN-JFF. (Dept. of Pure Nonsense - Just For Fun๐Ÿ˜) Addendum: Effective IMMEDIATE. Until further notice all personnel on Boat Show duty are required to wear Port & Starboard
    socks
    for ease of identification.๐Ÿ˜‰

I agree Ken, a good day out on Saturday, nice to see some different boats either on show or sailing. As regards the
    socks
, I shall expect to see everyone wearing them at the lake in future. If I remember correctly, Ben Ainslie and his crew were all wearing port and starboard
    socks
during their crack at America's cup participation in 2017

    Re: On the water!
Very true! Fishermen do love a sub!! Showed one of my fishermen friends earlier, he asked how I made the trawls. Told him it was the bags you put your
    socks
in when they go in the washing machine and a satsuma bag for the cod ends.. He said a couple of two hour tows across the lake should give a good haul of satsumas!!

When Sir Peter Blake and crew won the Americas Cup they all had the lucky red
    socks
on, as did half of NZ. They obviously weren't confused by having 2 port

The mate on my barge 'Upnor' is on his first trip. If you notice, he's wearing 'port and starboard'
    socks
to remind him which side is which. This is because he doesn't want to incur the skipper's wrath by, after he's lit them, putting the sidelights on the wrong sides.
