    Hi Doug, Looking at the photos of the inside of your sub it might be very difficult. However I do have a suggestion. If you were able to do away with one battery at the mid section, then construct a box using two layers of plastic card and overlap the joints. (Place this where the removed battery area) Then glue one tube in to it(as close to the bottom as possible)for the filling and draining. Then glue a small tube in at the top for a
    vent hose
    and run that up to the conning tower. If you are able to mount the pump above the two motors then you run two hoses from that. one to the constructed box and one to the water. It will be a bit tricky but I think it will be possible, obviously after that re-ballast. Just an idea. Martin.
