Hi Novagsio Do tread carefully if you intend to use
    westbourne
as there has been posts on this and other sites regarding their poor service level and lack of advertised stock. Canabus has a build blog mdlbt.com/31424 Not sure exactly what fittings you require but Reade Models may be able to help as they supported fittings for many of the kits produced alongside the Precedent range. http://reademodels.com If you are looking for the window frames then you may need to fabricate from liteply, or if you have a 3D printer source have some fabricated.

Hi Novagsio The only place that my help you out is
    westbourne
model.co.uk, but, they sell to full kit. May sell the fittings kit. The original handrails from my Precedent fibreglass hull are total rubbish, but, I only got with my second hand unfinished boat the air scoops. So I plan on making the hand bow rail and windscreen. My boat is in the BUILD BLOGS on the site. Canabus

Yet they still show the shop frontage on their site and Magazine adverts. it was a sad day when my local model shop Ashton Models closed, know far and wide used it man and boy in that order, they were old school, seemed to know everything about any hobby you could think of, rarely where they stumped. if you needed a thingy bob for a whats it you call it, you left with the very thing you needed, it was a treasure trove. A sad day indeed when they closed.

Hi Robbob, We're slowly and steadily tagging keywords across the website. It's an experiment at the moment more than anything else. I do like how you can drill down into boat names and keywords though, which then brings up other posts from across the website containing those words. It could be used for all sorts of things mind. Recommending things you might be interested in, to show trending tags, similar to twitter! it also helps search engines. The website is still a little lost in Google. Stupidly

    DO NOT order from
    westbourne
. There have been many complaints on various forums about their lack of service and concern for the customer (myself included). It appears (from another forum) that the shop is boarded up and they only trade via the internet now. But, DO NOT order over the net. I did a few months ago and when I eventually found out that they didn't stock the props I wanted, I cancelled the order and was assured a full refund would be paid. They did not, and after chasing numerous times had to get my credit card company involved. BTW, when I did once get through on the phone and I said I'd sent an email, the guy on the phone said they don't bother with emails as there's so many backed up at their email address!!! It's a shame their website is so slick but the customer service 'aint.

Model Centre, I placed an order with them on 2nd January 2016, I appreciate that they have just moved across the road into new premises, I have emailed the three times with no answer I have tried to phone them more times than I can remember with not one call answered, It appears that they are good at taking our money but not very good at Delivering the goods or even responding to emails, and yet they keep advertising in the magazines. Hi guys, I'm new to model boats, but have built and flown aircraft for years - never had a problem with ordering parts online, even from the US or China. I ordered a MFA torpedo motor and a prop shaft (standard fare for a shop catering to the model boat trade?). 3 weeks on, and still waiting - I too have had the same excuses, about having had to wait for parts to come in, "it's been posted, give it a few days" etc Etc. I've had enough of the vagueness as to when it was posted, the obvious lies and ignorance of calls and emails. I have reported to PayPal, which luckily means I'll get my money back. These jokers shouldn't be in business, and are to me an insult to the modelling community. I will take Vosper's advice and try Cornwall models in future.....!

has been criticized for poor service and Cornwall Model Boats praised for good. Would suggest readers also add Model Dockyard to their lists of reputable suppliers. I am a relatively new customer, being recommended to them by a friend. All my earlier transactions were fine; but with my latest, the goods were unreasonably delayed in the great intestine of the postal service. After about 5 weeks of waiting Model Dockyard replaced and reshipped the order at their expense, totally without quibble. Over two mail deliveries I have received my original order and now it's replacement. That is the type of service that deserves recognition, would recommend this company to anybody.

if you use the fr*sky system I can recommend T9 Hobby Sport https://www.t9hobbysport.com/ Everything I have ordered arrived, and no problems, one occasion there was an error ( crossed communication) and they offered to send correct item free of charge! I declined since it was not clear the mistake was theirs or mine and what was sent I could use. I suspect that the majority of model suppliers are honest traders making a moderate living from what was a hobby. By the way if you use LiPo batteries you should consider getting a fr*sky system since you can fit a small unit between the receiver and your LiPo balance lead, this will allow your battery voltage to be sent back to the transmitter and alarms trigger points set so you can preserve the battery.

Lest anyone run away with the idea that Cornwall Model Boats is the only good supplier (and I agree they are good), there is a list here of many suppliers: http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/links/traders.htm It is not complete, it does not include Model Dockyard for example, but the few I have dealt with have all been good.
