[Score: 8/10] 55" PS Waverley Capable of 2mph and a runtime of 45mins Chain to a MFA Torpedo 500 Motor and Gearbox Powered by Lead Acid (6v) 5Amp/h Batteries Controlled Through Mtroniks Viper Marine 25 ESC - Comments: Scratch Built on a GRP hull using a geared motor and plastic chain to drive two paddles. Took 5 years to build and she is 10 years old. She was built as seen in 1973

Truly a beautiful model. Electric drive? Waverley underwent extensive refit and repairs at Gt Yarmouth here in Norfolk many years ago when I saw the paddles up on the quayside. Grand old girl still going strong.

Great to see a model of this Old girl , I got to spend a day on the real one as an organised trip with our boating club . Was well worth the time and money , absolutely fantastic seeing all the inner steam workings . Very well done
