Heron Model Boat Club Regatta 2018 The "Big One" for us as a club and part of the Bay Fest 2018 Programme. Clubs have been invited from all over the southeast for this day of model boating on our home water in Memorial Park, Herne Bay, over 100 boats on display and on the water, Club 500, tug towing and more. we will have our "have a go" area for children of all ages to take the controls of an RC boat. Members and visitors to set up from 8:30am no earlier please. Canterbury City Council have granted us vehicle entry to the park which can be made from Kings Road via "Avenue of Remembrance" - please note that this is a public park, strict 5mph speed limit staying on the roads and paths as much as possible please. we look forward to seeing you there. [Score: 8/10] 24"/1000g Scarlett Fury - ForceA?60 racing Catamaran Capable of 12mph and a runtime of 120mins Powered by NiMH (4.8v) Batteries - Comments: my first venture in to sailing

skullduggery - slipway club 500 by Carlosthepirate Chief Petty Officer   Posted: 4 years ago
[Score: 10/10] 22"/500g skullduggery - slipway club 500 Capable of 12mph and a runtime of 30mins Single Propellor (2 Blade S Type 30mm) Direct Drive to a 500fc (2 Blade S Type) Powered by NiMH (7.2v) 5Amp/h Batteries Controlled Through mtroniks eco27 (15Amps) ESC - Comments: Got this as a kit last year to join In the demolition derby that Is club 500 racing. Thought I would throw a spin on It by having It carbon (effect only sadly) coated by wickedcoatings.com with a skull pattern roof all standard apart from that although I have fitted foam Inside the hull to limit crash damage and sinking and a clear lid to the hull for quick viewing of the Internals. I have recently fitted a camera mount and clear cabin to allow filming with a waterproof camera.

[Score: 10/10] 32"/3000g Rachel (drumbeat of devon) fisheries patrol model slipway Capable of 5mph and a runtime of 80mins Twin Propellors (4 Blade 40mm) Direct Drive to a Std 540 with kit (4 Blade) Powered by NiMH (8.4v) 4Amp/h Batteries Controlled Through action p94 dual mixer (40Amps) ESC - Comments: Originally purchased this when I was 16 In 1994 and with my limited skills at the time was never quite finished to my ideal standard and never managed to get It running right. Got consigned to the loft when I discovered the joys of college (girls and alcohol) then a house move when I moved in with my girlfriend (now wife) It got a little worse for wear. Now I am 38 and during the early part of 2014 It has been resurrected and I am extremely pleased with It. Running nearly all action electronics P94, (will list more soon) apart from the graupner bow thruster which is on robbe minI 200, Planet t7 tx, r7m rx, custom lighting. planning on fitting a working anchor winch before the Heron regatta on Aug 30th.
