Opening of the electro driven boats

Hermank you are in a great place, I wish I had one as I have to organize almost a military expedition if I want to find a quiet place to sail. The measurements of this artificial lake are optimal.

Edina Model Yacht Club - Spring Breakfast

Our annual Spring kick-off event. The club hosts coffee and rolls. Hopefully, the weather will be decent and members will show the projects they worked on over the winter, and boats will be on the water.

RAWDON MBC OPEN DAY

Thanks for posting this Mike. From my experience I would highly recommend attending the open day. Lots of boats, excellent launching/landing facilities, wonderful food, lots of like-minded boat people all wanting to share their knowledge and experience. Couldn't be better. Get there early if you want to get a parking space ! 😉

Edina Model Yacht Club - Parade of Boats at Centennial Lakes Ponds

Club members display their boats in the Hughes Pavilion for the public to see, including a small "For Sale" area. There are scheduled activities on the pond. In the evening, a Sousa Band will be playing at the south end of the ponds.

Members have boats on the ponds in the afternoon and evening. In the evening, the boats are lighted. There is a Sousa Band playing at the bandshell on the south end of the ponds. Fireworks at the end of the evening
