I am looking into developing a little unit that you can drop into any boat with any desired sound. I have ordered some parts and awaiting their arrival to see if they are suitable for what I have in mind. they should be here in a week or so.
The sound units which are available to buy I find to be very expensive and one type of sound. The unit I have in mind would be less than £15 and rechargeable so no wiring involved with interchangeable sounds.
If it works out as I imagine I will put the Penta engine sound on it and send it to you to evaluate. 😊

Its maiden voyage took place at the Knap at Barry South Glamorgan. with the VGMBC.
It's a Robbe kit "San Diego" built by a chap on this website "sharpy1071"
Leopard 4074-1400Kv water-cooled motors 100A Mystery ESC's.
After a few teething problems with transmitter setup, everything went fine.

So what you are suggesting is the Gov.uk web page should update their information to iron out the way they add VAT?
All our members should buy from within the UK where possible, but be aware of other costs when not doing so.

You pay VAT on goods sent from non-European Union countries and if they are:
gifts worth more than £34 other goods worth more than £15
You have to pay VAT on all goods sent by mail order from the Channel islands no matter what their value.
You will be charged at the rate that applies to your goods. VAT is charged on the total value, including:

Customs Duty

Where does one get plans for a specific boat.
I would like to build a model of the "Bali Sea" which is a Ro-Ro Rail ferry. (see pic)
And was thinking to scale it using "N"gauge rolling stock.
I can get the overall length and beam which is 175.3 M x 35.8 M. and the draft is 6.9 M
I also know rail tracks
Upper Deck 8 Tracks x 3644 ft
Lower Deck 7 tracks x 3220 ft
But this is about all the information I can find

Hi am after dimensions drawings for the superstructure for the MY Steve Irwin.
It was formerly FPV Westra a Scottish fisheries protection vessel for 28 years.
it was built Hall, Russell & Company Aberdeen.
It was called Island-class patrol vessel by the Royal Navy.
Other ships in this class were the FPV Jura, Jersey, Shetland, Alderney, Lindisfarne, Orkney.
Any help would be great!!
