Coast Guard 47 MLB 1:16 scale build

It is 36 1/2 inches long. The company that made it is long out of business. I got it from a friend. That was passed down to him, it is missing all plans and instructions and several parts. I'm getting photos on line, but there are at least 3 different upgrades to the boat and the kit was from the original build. So getting photos has been difficult. I was able to find the original boat plans from the Coast Guard museum in Seattle that has been a great help. Along with help from Coosbay in oregon and Ilwaco Washington. Being able to get tours of the boats and photos. So I'm building basically from scratch. Trying to stay with the original plans. Which I took to FedEx and they made the original plans to fit a 36.5 inch hull. It has been a very interesting build so far.

Hi Bruce, The same as I wrote below about Fred seems to apply to you as well🤔 A search for Bruce gave the result in attached pic. There are two Bruces registered in the US, both in Hillsboro, Oregon and both building a USCG 47'. And both have built the Dusseldorf Fireboat etc etc! 'bruce1946', registered 21st April 2020, Midshipman,930 points. 'bruced', registered 3rd November 2022, Able Seaman, 36 points. So it seems that you also inadvertently created a second account. Both are still active. How this can happen is frankly beyond me but only the member himself can do it! If this is indeed the case, as the topics of posts from 'both bruces' seems to strongly indicate, then I can only suggest that you ask Stephen (Fireboat) to find the time to transfer your posts from bruced to bruce1946 and delete the bruced account. Greg, what caught my attention was not only the dramatic scenes but the detail of the boat itself. Also, what let the water in was the explosion and severe damage following and seeing the water come inside the hull. What Hollywood has done for movies this guy did for model boats. Good evening to all the guys on this forum. I'm about to get off topic, but Jumpugly is right. When I write or say (without even writing) something, the Internet (via Google or other search engines) offers you various news or articles for sale about it. This time it wasn't a sales proposal but news. Why do I say I'm going off the rails of my topic? Because the theme was the most extravagant, bizarre and unsuccessful ships ever built in the world. This yacht is something else entirely, it seems like science fiction. This submarine, called M5, will measure 165.8 meters long and 23 meters wide at its widest point, with a range of approximately 15,000 kilometers and a speed of up to 20 knots on the surface (or 12 knots submerged). What is most incredible is that the submarine will be able to descend up to 250 meters deep and remain submerged for up to four weeks. She will be able to hold 20 passengers and 40 crew members. It includes a helipad, a swimming pool and spa, a gym, a cinema with art galleries, a party area with a DJ booth, as well as numerous spaces for relaxing or dining. Optional extras include a hot air balloon and an underwater shark feeding station.
