    Propshaft replacement?
I am replacing the entire prop shaft on my Patrol
    Torpedo Boat
refurbishment. I am going to cut the shaft about 15mm from the wood and heat the remainder with a 60watt soldering iron inside the hole to soften the glue. When reasonably hot, I will gently tap it out with a drift.

Re: 40'' Seaplane Tender, first test run
Not to mention ramming the jetty at 20 knots Martin!! Breathalyse that man occifer! Looks very good JB ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Couldn't hear too much of your sound modules though ๐Ÿค” German kids (and their Gramps) seem to be a bit more disciplined. Some even ask intelligent questions about how things work and not just "How much did it cost Mister?" or "Where can I get one?" or "Do the guns fire?" One of the Gramps once asked me if my H Class destroyer was based on a German T-Boat,
    Torpedo Boat
. Similar to the precursor of the real Destroyer, the
    Torpedo Boat
Destroyer. Seemed disappointed when I told him it was a 1936 RN Destroyer. Turned out he had served on the T-Boats! Cheers, Doug ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Exquisite! ๐Ÿ˜Ž Esp. the diagonal planking, what a shame to have to hide it under admiralty grey paint๐Ÿค” I also have many John Lambert plans, esp. his WW2 weaponry series, but he never popped round to help me ๐Ÿ˜ญ Hat off for a really excellent museum quality result, Cheers, Doug ๐Ÿ˜Ž BTW; apropos Operation Chariot; I have a 1:240 kit of Campbeltown I'm considering 'kit bashing' as she was modified for the raid to look like a German
    Torpedo Boat
. Then converting to RC a la 'Plastic Magic'.

    (Naval Ship) Motor
    Torpedo Boat
    This is an all-metal Motor
    Torpedo Boat
, built in 1946. its running gear is absent and has fixed rudders. This will be an interesting project starting with the removal of the cracked paint... Has anyone else got one of these? (5/10) An enthusiast in the USA saw it and wanted it (big time)... he bought it and paid ยฃ97 P&P!!
