    Sea Commander restoration.
Hi Colin, "The motor is mounted on a 16 swg
    aluminium tray
which is adjustable for ease of alignment and removal." Should have known with an 'old' fox like you!๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘ "but I have decided to use them for water cooling the esc mount." Makes sense, although during my tests of your motor, using a Graupner V30R 30A ESC (see pic for setup), I found that the only part that got warm was the diode bridge on the converter board. That's why I added the alu heat sink 'just in case'. Current draw on load in the wet stuff will of course be higher than in my dry bench tests. Can't wait to see her in action ๐Ÿ˜‰ Cheers, Doug

Well Doug, well spotted. The motor is mounted on a 16 swg
    aluminium tray
which is adjustable for ease of alignment and removal. Once the final position is achieved it will be locked in place. The water pick up and outlet were originally required for the diesel engine, but I have decided to use them for water cooling the esc mount. Cheers Colin.
